Are these good reasons to become a dental assistant?

im thinking about becoming a dental assitant but i have second thoughts about it, i dont know if im going to like it once im there. but i know that i want to work in the health field.(dont want to be a nurse!) make a decent amount of money, and not work too many hours and a dental assistant fits all those things. so what do you think, and if anyone is a dental assistant what is it like, do you like it? is it hard? any advice will be helpful thanks!

If you are not sure if you will like it - try taking just a few courses, The hours are great - but a lot of the enjoyment for this job depends on who the dentist(s) you will be working for.
