Do you have to have a engineering degree to be a software engineer?

i am entering college in a year and my career choice is a computer systems software engineer. but the problem is, the college that ive been wanting to attend for ages doesn't have an engineering program. could i still get a (good) software engineering job with a degree in: 1-Computer Science 2-Computer Information Systems 3-Computer Information Science 4-Information Technology if you know of any other degrees that hiring managers hire software engineers with, please let me know all of your input is greatly appreciated, Thank-You!

No, you don't have to be an "engineer" to be a software engineer. You would do fine with majoring in the areas you list. What would matter is what you learn, not what your sheepskin says.
