How much should a part time Print Associate/Specialist expect to be paid at a Staples?
Asked by Mac
4 years retail experience (customer servce/cashier) and pursuing BA in graphic design. Basically my old job, although I liked it, is completely unrelated to my career path.. at least with Staples I can work in the print area til I graduate in a year. I'm going to bring it up in the interview but just wanted to see if anyone knows. Hmm ok, its near Boston, MA.

I have a family member that has a the same job at a competitor. She makes somewhere between 8-9 an hour. Of course, that depends on the area, I'm sure NYC employees make far more than small town America.

I have friends who work at staples stores, and they usually offer area-competative part time job pay. If your local grocery store starts at $7.50, expect $7.50 - 8.00. edit: part time and specialist dont go together at staples stores. a specialist will make more, but should expect to put in 35 hrs/wk or more.
