Do employees expect equall or less production from there night shift workers then of there day shift workers?

Do you really mean employees and not employers? I would have to say the answer is they expect each to do their best. . There is a story about U S Steel company. The CEO at the time--I can't recall his name--saw that the shift had poured something like 7 laddles of steel on the shift. He wrote the number in chalk on the floor at the entrance to the plant. The next shift came in and saw the number 7 and was told that was the number poured by the previous shift. That shift then poured 9. The next shift poured 12. That is just one story that I recall.

They expect equally high production standards & quantities. I used to work a nightshift & in fact we produced more than the dayshift, less distractions i guess.
