Jill S
For addressing a cover letter what do you do when the only name you are given is the office manager name?
Asked by Jill S
I recently graduated and want to send out a cover letter with my resume, all of the positions I'm applying for are practices with more than one doctor that I would be working for. Is it ok to address it to their secretary?

A:
Best Answer:
Since there are multiple doctors that is acceptable. Usually if you cant get a name then a cover letter is a waste of time but for this instance it will work with the office managers name.

A:
You could try to send it to the human resources depart Attn: Human Resources Recruiter or send the letter to at least 3 other doctors in the practice. Attn: Dr. Spock Dr. Doolittle Reference in your letter that you spoke with John Doe or Jane Doe, Office Manager, that way he/she will not throw your letter away. Good luck

A:
Attention to the office manager, human resources, and sometimes it is sent directly to the physician.
