do you support my decision to change my career to IT and ERP in manufacturing insteade of Production Engineer?

i wanna know if i will be a system analyst or a consaltant in an IT company or ERP systems will componsate me well or no...knowing that i love this career and it has a very good salaries in my country.....how can i start and what can i study? will my degree of production engineering give me an added value in this field?

It is hard to say you are making a wise decision until you set all the cards on the table. There are two considerations to make for career change. 1) Does the career change require a change in which you will need to build a completely different set of skills? If it does, do you have the financing? 2) Does the career change require immediate skill transfer- in which case you do not have to go back to school? If that is the case, this may be the way to go. Difficulty in finding work may not be a reason to change. The reasons you are not succeeding may be. I suggest you look into these two considerations by doing investigation through informational interviews and assessments of your skill levels. Good luck
