I am a mechanical engineer and want to get trained in SAP.Please suggest me me module and job oppourtunities.?

Can i begin with the any functional module like MM, SCM, PP or any basic module. My previous work experince is not related to SAP in any way.I worked as a CAD engineer and now want to change my career route towards SAP.

MM and PS modules are good. Many companies are shifting to PS module as it has better control and is versitile
