How Much Does A Non - 911 Dispatcher/ Operator Make?
Asked by +Y3sH iiM @ D0rK XD +
Im seeking a job as a dispatcher/ operator. I am not interested in becoming a 911 operator because you have to have at least 5+ years to get the job. I thinking of something like taxi or limo service maybe delivery service. I was wondering about how much do they make per hour & year?
I am in Los Angeles, California

Depends on where you are working. In the city i work 911 disp. start at 32k and they provide the training. I would def. look into some fire/police departments. Alot of them PAY for your training with no experience needed and the pay/hours are pretty good. The job itself can be stressful sometimes though!

Depends on the state/organization you are wanting to work in/for.
I am in Kansas and our dispatchers start around $15.00 per hour.
