in human resources, what do you exactly do?? and what classes are needed to be in human resources? do you need to be good at math? thanks!

HR departments recruit, hire and train staff; perform administrative, benefits and payroll functions; keep all paperwork related to employment, including evaluations; provide liaison between employees and managment staff... Depending on the size of the company, one person may do all of the above, or they may have one or more people who perform each function. The education and cerification requirements vary according to provinces and states. Some require you to take accounting, budgeting and benefits administration courses, but you can find requisite course listings at your local community college or the website for HR Professionals Associations, such as HRPAO in Ontario (see below).
