Between USPS, UPS and Fedex, which company is the best place to work at for delivery?
Asked by PlayDaily
I am wondering which company is the best in terms of how much each typically pays, the amount of work that must be done, how each one treats their employees, how good their benefits are, etc. I am currently looking for good stable employment and I have my eyes set on being a delivery driver for one of these companies. I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experiences as well as your recommendations. I was wondering since USPS is a government job, could that be better and if so, in what way exactly?

Wages, benefits etc between the three are similar. One thing to look at is stability. USPS has never laid off anybody. I do not recall UPS ever having layoffs and I think that I do recall a while ago that FedEx did some cuts. Deliveruing for USPS could be considered more difficult and tedious because, as a regular, you do the same route, the same way every day. The others would not have a particular route each day as they would not have to visit every address every day. It may be easier to get in to UPS or FedEx as the hiring process is probably more streamlined. Good Luck with your search.

UPS hands down. They have retirement, good benefits and also help pay for college.

Yep...it's UPS. FedEx is okay...but the Browns win!
