how much is the pay for a waiter in london?

i'm planning to go london to work but i dunno can i make a living there. bez i dun have a working visa.. how much is a waiter per hour and where show i start looking for a job or what is more better to work as?

about £6-7 an hour. Not much at all but they take advantage of people with no previous experience here! Also, they are quite bad with tips here so don't expect that much! Go to www.gumtree.com for jobs
