Can I become a flight attendant in Kansas City?
Asked by roxypuff
I may be relocating to Kansas City, and would like to become a flight attendant. Would I have to relocate to a major hub to do so, or could I be based out of there? I have no training in this, but think it is my true calling!

I don't see why not. There is a decent airport in KC. I had a friend from here that was a flight attendant for years. Found out about job opportunities from MCI. This site has listings for jobs in aviation...including airline attendants. http://careers.avjobs.com/careers-directory/Airport-Customer-Service-Agent-%96-MCI.asp

If you think that it is your true calling, then you should research it. Try finding someone who does do that, then ask tehm what it is like, basically an interview. If the research really makes you want to do it, then you should go to school for it. Best wishes.
