Plumbing doesn't seem to have changed a whole lot. Probably more rules and regulations. Electricians have been changed some by all the demands caused by computers, fax machines, networks, etc. If the electrician is involved in wiring such networks or systems, there's a lot of new business. Photography has gone digital. For the most part, film has been replaced by digitally stored photos. Now you can actually take 7 pictures of the bride, show them to her, and get her approval. If she doesn't like them, you take 7 more. Darkrooms are gone, and computers with fancy printers are now in the backroom of the photographers studio. Also, everyone with a digital camera thinks that they can do as well as the professional. So there's more competition. Or less demand for the true professional.
