Change of oil and gas to power. diversify from engineering to management. Compensation.?

I have total 29 years of which 22 years of detail engineering in oil and gas and power sector and 7 years in engineering coordination. Presently I have an offer on project management in power sector. Is is worth to change oil and gas to power and diversify responsibilities in India? What should be expected compensation per annum?

Hi Murthy, You should go for it! After so many years, it is time to step out of the cotton wool and try the power sector in life. Not knowing where you're at makes it difficult to comment on pay etc but it sounds like it's more than you currently get? Good luck...
