Can anyone tell me about these fast track plumbing courses?

They cost around 5 or 6 thousand pound for an 8-10 week course. Is it worthwhile as a career change option and whats the likelihood of employment at the end of it.

Im doing a plumbing apprentaship at the moment ... the fast track courses are no different to a normal college plumbing course ... apart from u do more work in a day and more days with more work crammed into the days ... if u want to change fast go for it ... dont expect decent money to start off with tho .. good luck

You need to train with actual plumbers, it is the only way you can learn, get a job as a plumber aid and look closely, my husband is a plumber.

I was thinking about this at some point so I asked a plumber if it would be a good idea to do one of these courses for the basics then get training at a job.He said you can but you'll be on the minimum wage at first after you're short course.

they are a con, no amount of money for a cert can over-rule on the job experience. i wouldnt touch them.
