Looking for a creative part-time/weekend job?
Asked by gabyrig
I have a very good job and make really good money. I'm also going to grad school part time and will soon have a mortgage. I would like to get a part-time job to save up more for school, house payments, emergencies and vacations. Since I won't have class this summer (4-5 months), I am thinking of taking a part-time/weekend job. I'm a civil engineer and I could easily work overtime doing trivial consulting or field work stuff but I want something creative and outside of civil engineering. Something like working in a gym, hospital, translating, wedding planning.... I don't know. It has to be fun but also pay well (ideally not under $18/hr). Any idea where I can find jobs like that? Any implications I should think about? Thanks a bunch! 15-20 hrs nights and weekends. P.S. I speak fluent french if that helps and I was thinking of taking a medical translation course. Good idea? If you have nothing constructive to say then don't reply just for points. It's annoying. How much it pays doesn't really matter. It just has to be different from summing forces in x, y, z direction and other stuff like that.
