Career Questions and Answers

Professor Frink
I'm thinking about a career in Radiology or Dental assistant, What do you think?
Asked by Professor Frink
I think I could get certified as a dental assistant faster, but radiologist is a bit better. Any of you know, anyone in these careers? do they like it? what's your opinion?

Best Answer:
Follow your heart - the money will follow. Don't settle for something because it is 'quicker' or because it is initially more 'lucrative' Both are good choices - I am in neither - but I believe I would lean more to radiology because; 1) I would rather make x-rays than poke around in someones mouth 2) Radiology might lend itself more to an independent or 'free-lance' opportunities in the future 3) Radiology might offer an even better path for advancement in the future In the end, your choice - you have a great future in front of you. Follow your heart and stay focused.

I have heard being a radiologist is a fun and interesting job. A dental assistant might be fun, but if it's not what you really want, you shouldn't waste your time with something you don't enjoy.
