Got a housekeeping job at a hotel, any tips?

I just passed an interview today after a week of job searching, they really wanted experience but took me because of my military background. Never been in housekeeping but the Army was lots of cleaning.

If you made it through the Army, I think you'll do just fine. Each hotel is going to have their certain way of doings things, of which I am sure they will train you in.

How did you go about getting a job in a hotel? Im trying to also get a housekeeping position but I dont know how to go about getting one.
