What's a good objective to put on my resume?
Asked by BallllinAsiann
I'm 17 and recently worked at a metal stamping factory as a custodian for a few months. I plan to apply at the Gap in the mall because they are hiring a part time sales associate. So what objective or purpose should I put on my resume. Or what other places should I apply to?

Apply at any place you think you could learn something, be challenged AND enjoy (what's the point if you don't). You need to tune each resume so it looks like you have created it just for the place you are applying so it looks like a good fit. For GAP, you should relate your people skills for example. As an objective say something like, "I would like an opportunity to enhance and showcase my sales and communication skills in an environment geared toward current and youthful trends, as well as develop a responsibility and trust driven relationship within the organization." Good luck!!!
