My first suggestion to you would be is do you know anyone down there that can get you names and numbers of companies down there? If so then I would call each company and tell them you are relocating and was wondering if they would be hiring. If not then you could try to get your hands on one of their local papers or possibly accessing one via internet to look in their employment adds. My second suggestion would be to join the TTT and see if any of our 300 plus members might be able to help you. A friend and I started up an on-line trucking group to help new and wanna-be drivers get the hard honest facts about the trucking industry. We have many "seasoned" members that are from all over the US and someone may be able to help you out. Our group is FREE to join and if you should decide you don't like it for any reason you are always free to leave. We have tons of info in our Files, Database, and Link sections that may also be of help to you. Plus we are always looking for drivers with experience that would like to help out the newer drivers we get. If you decide to join it will ask you for a 50 word comment...just put in that Susan sent you and you will be approved admittance. I will put the link below for you.
