How will DENTISTS be affected by universal healthcare?
Asked by `~-Cynic
Will it be good for dentists? Will it be bad? Will dentists make less money? Will dentists make more money? Or will universal healthcare only affect medical doctors? Because dentists have private practices, which means the government doesnt pay their salary. However, the government pays medical doctors salaries. Any clue on how universal healthcare would affect a DENTIST?

Best Answer:
Unless dental care become a part of the universal healthcare package, they will be unaffected. (no change--just market forces)

They will be forced into becoming God Fearing believers, praying each day that they are not affected by this soon to become misery inflocted on the American public. Most experienced dentists already make more than most doctors because of the supply and demand equasion. The government does not pay doctors salaries unless they work for the government so I don't lknow why you assume what you stated incorrectly. Many doctors have just as private a practice as any dentist, some work for hospitals, clinics or, perhaps the government.
