Where's a good place to work part time if I only want to work on weekend mornings and afternoons?
Asked by Vincent
I'm currently in college taking 18 credit hours and not working. Not working is slowly draining my money and no allowing me to go out as much as I'd like to. I would like to only work Thursday after 5, Friday until 6, and Saturday until 6, but is there any place that would hire someone with such a limited availability? I used to work at Best Buy and Blockbuster part time and Friday and Saturday nights were their busiest times of the week.

You can try for small individual businesses that don't stay open till the mall closes, and be up front about your availability with them. You are definitely desirable as you don't want 40 hours a week, so I would look for the little boutiques or small businesses that don't want to hire people who want a lot of hours. Good Luck!

Grocery stores, hotels, or at a business that waters plants for hotels.

I started my own home base business making all natural soy candles that I wholesale to businesses and I also retail them. I do fundraisers and gift baskets. You can do swap meets or farmers markets. Take a look at my website for more information. If selling the candles is not for you, you can also get paid by the company by recruiting candle makers. www.cwlight.net/yoursuccess. The money is great and you can spend alittle or alot of time building your business.
