Which would look better on your resume, Teletype Operator or Account Clerk?

I know that any kind of accounting looks fantastic on a resume. Would answering phones be just as good? Answering phones pays more because of the hours.

Accounts clerk will be better as the term is in universal usasge !

It depends on what you are applying for. If it’s something technical, I would rather see a Teletype operator. If it’s an accounting position, then Account Clerk would be best – someone with 10-key experience. Good luck

put them both on.. enjoy teletype/account..., this way both are covered.. folks stay in the box to much and put only one job title.. go for it use both and make them stick... if not in your title then certainly in the body of your resume.

Your question was not exactly clear. You were a bit harsh on the other answer. You should choose the job you will enjoy 40+ hours per week and not worry about the resume. Happiness is the most important and your job satisfaction will radiate into everything else you do. No matter which job you choose, you will be able to write an impressive resume if you do a good job and work hard.
