Salary Expectations for a Customer Service Manager (Call Centre) in the UK?
Asked by Jez
Currently working in product support/admin management and considering a move to customer services management in a call centre, the specific role I've seen is a "salary based on experience" job but am not sure what to ask for, ideally want £22k or above but is this realistic? Any advice accepted with gratitude :)

Looking at PayScale.com, the median starting salary for a Customer Service Manager in the UK is very close to what you are hoping for: http://www.payscale.com/research/UK/Job=Customer_Service_Manager/Salary/by_Years_Experience&src=yahooA And that is with less than 1 year of experience. I'm not sure if this is specifically referring to the salary for a Customer Service Manager in a Call Center, but your previous management experience might help in terms of negotiating your starting salary. You could also try taking PayScale's salary survey. It's free and lets you find salary data based on your specific qualifications, location, employment setting, etc. http://www.payscale.com/?src=yahooA Hope that helps
