What are the pros of being an occupational therapy assistant over an occupational therapist?

are there any? i always thought that the conncection was kinda like a physician assistant to the doctor....the PA does alot of the same stuff, gets paid less, but goes to school for less time and the doctor gets all the blame!!! i think that this is kinda what its like for an OT and an OTA. so, whats the pros of being an assistant over a therapist? thank you all! thanks

An assistant has less liability. You won't be the one people complain to if there are problems.
