What are the legalities in taking rest/meal breaks as a child care worker in australia/victoria?
Asked by Eliza
I am trying to find out some information about the legal working conditions of child care workers in Australia, in particular Victoria, but I would like to hear from other people as well. Does the law say that a child care worker is entitled to breaks of any describtion after a certain amount of hours? Where can I find further information and what do people know?

If uou are alone you take a working break. You can sit down to eat and rest but if something comes up then you have to attend to it. If it is a place with other workers then you can have a normal uninteruppted break.
