Anyone out there work for Publix supermarket? If so do you know what kind of background check they perform?

I have a misdemeanor on my record but it didn't happen in any state I lived in. Does Publix do a state background check or is it more than that?

They do a check in the state only !!. You are safe please !!!

Depending on what job you want, most do drug checks, and basic background checks, looking more for theft issues. If it's out of state, best chances are you will be fine. Or even if it's in state, as long as it isn't related to stealing.
