Why can't my husband find a job?
Asked by Kimberly H
He's 52, hardworking, pleasant, and reliable. His last job was in the automotive business. He lost it due to down sizing after the dealership was sold. He was a service consultant. He is very good at customer service and has received awards for it. So, why can't he find a good job?
He is also good with computers and trouble shooting in the area of malware and spyware elimination and prevention, but has no certification. He's got some engineering backround as he served in the British Navy for 18 years mainly working with radar and sonar.
Does anyone have any advice for him?
We live north of Atlanta, Ga.

I think he should try the recruitment companies, that's how I and other few friends of mine found our jobs.

Where do you live?
Perhaps he is asking for too much pay.. If he was at his job for a long time and making good money, he may want to leave off the amount that he was making before, on his resume or employment app..
I've recruited for dealerships for years and a GOOD service adviser is HARD to find..
