Serenity
Toyota Job?
Asked by Serenity
I applied for a warehouse associate postion in my home town. I recieved an email to take the test and 2 weeks after the test recieved a call to come in for an interview, after that i recieved a call 10 days later on a thursday to come and do a back ground check the following tuesday recieved a call that i needed to do employement verification with my present job completed that and have heard nothing its been a little over a week. Is that bad? I know that there is nothing on my background because i currently work at a job that is checks regulary. I had a suspended license 16 years ago but is no longer on it. No other tickets since then.. Should I wait to hear from them or is it a waste of time, that i wont get a call for the job

It will be resolved eventually. Whether you get a call offering you the job or a letter denying it, you'll know soon. Unfortunately, just because you jumped through all their hoops doesn't mean that you were the only one jumping. Many times the Human Resource Dept will want to give the executives many options for new hires, so they'll line up 4 or 5 candidates for them to choose from. Good luck!

If you wasnt fired or let go from a job in the past then you have nothing to worry about. Maybe they are waiting to get news back on a few more people so they can start you all at the same time. But if you really want to know just call them. That way they will know you really want the job. Just dont call them everyday and bug them about it.
