This varies by company and your experience. Pay is also based on site, location & duties. $8-12/hr some maybe a little more. Site pay can range from minium wage & up. Security, even armed is not a high paying job. However, if you have a current police commission and the security company hires off duty officers as security, you could be paid $16-18. I would check each company to see if they are hiring & for what pay. If they are hiring, I would snatch up any position. With this economy, almost all of us including the world's largest security firm are in the same bind. Good Luck on your Job Search!
