How much does an SQL Job Pay?
Asked by Bruce
I am looking to get into a SQL position (wiht Oracle), and they said with no prior expierance it would be 35K. The job is part customer service, dealing with the customer and explaining to them the database and writing scripts to modify data if they put it in wrong. Is a job like this a good starting point, or am I heading down the wrong road?

Sounds like a great starting point if you would like to go into Systems Analysis, Database Analysis or Database Administration. I can't say what this job should pay because salary is very dependant on your location, experience, and education.
