Asked by Schatzi
The job that I'm applying for: Large pharmaceutical company in NJ is searching for several Production Operators to ensure compliance of SOPs & cGMP. You should be able to follow Production Supervisor's/Manager's instructions, perform the manufacturing activities of Granulation, Blending, Compression, Coating, etc... Follow instructions as per the Batch Record and Operating procedures of the equipment. Maintain professional discipline while working, inform any problems related to the manufacturing activities to the Production Supervisor immediately. Document all the procedural operations in the Batch Record. Maintain cleanliness in the manufacturing area. Accountable for adherence to the cGMPs and operation of manufacturing equipment.
What should I put on my objective part?
I'm in college, first year going for engineering. I'm taking chemistry class and I'm interested in it. I want to work there simply just want to see if chemistry is any interesting in the real world.

To ensure 100% accuracy, and make zero mistakes that would be non-compliant to the process sheet.

I like to leverage any experiences I have that would help to qualify me for the position. So I'd say something like: I'm looking for a growth opportunity within a pharmaceutical production facility which would allow me to use my experience...put your experience here... and grow professionally.
If your young professionally, I'm not sure the objective is as important as when you are mid-career or further. Best of luck.
