Can you have part time jobs if you work full time?
Asked by Hermes711
I'll have a full-time job but I want to work part-time in some "hobby" areas as well. Is it... legal (?) or frowned upon to have a part-time job along with a full time job?

Absolutely not! Many great businesses have been created 'part-time'.
It is not illegal, unless you are breaking a contract that you may have with your employer that restricts you from doing so which would be EXTRAORDINARILY RARE.
The only thing that I would advise you to be aware of, though, is if you are using information or resources from your full-time job for your part-time job (like access to databases or actual resources like computers, printers, etc.) then that's not good. You can use what you have learned in your full time job in your part time job, but it may be construed that if you create an amazing product or service, your employer may have legal rights to be compensated. But all of this is quite rare. Unless you work in an industry that depends on 'intellectual property' like computer/Internet/IT companies, then you should be good to go.
Hope this helps!

there are no laws restricting you from working more than 1 job; you can work as many job as you can.

It is legal. Why would there be a law against it?

A:
Yes you can but you will pay lots of tax on your second wage as it is a second income.

There's nothing wrong with having an additional part time job, as long as it doesn't create a conflict of interest with your full time job.
Example: You can't work for Nike full time and work for Reebok part time.

If you are using a work visa than no. It is illegal to work other than your sponsor's company.
If you are USC...not problem.
Even if you want 3 more jobs it is ok, as long as you can handle.

There is no law that says you can't work more than one job. As long as neither job impacts the other, why not? There is an opportunity with a company that will allow you to set your own hours. You could totally work around your schedule with your other job. I got involved with this company about 6 months ago and am only doing it part time. I am currently making $200/week, and growing. I became an independent distributor for this company ($39 start up) and love feeling like I own my own business. My approach has been to set up "tastings" at my house several times each month to introduce new people to the product. They can either purchase from me retail or enroll as distributors themselves. Either way the compensation plan is very aggressive and this may be just what you are looking for!
