I have been on some job interveiws that require some driving. So what exactly does come up in a drivers license check? Car accidents and speeding tickets?

yes, unpaid tickets too. Anything DMV related will show up.

Any employer who scans your driver's license is breaking the law, even if you are purchasing something. Only the police and federal agents have the right to scan it.
