what are the attitudes do found in a marketing manager?

hi i am studying mba , actually i want to join in HR ,but due to the oppurtunities i am entered into marketing, still i love both the subjects,but still i staggered both the matters wether what specilisation i have to join.that was a big question for me,, by understanding my self i am very interested in HR subjects ,but by getting the salaries i am very interested in marketing and i love the challenges,so where to join ,is there any problem with my attitude?

always cool..........motivation to yr team always..smile face...achieve d targets.........perfect of a/c if need....needs to make a good contact...good customer service lots of but don't choose marketing otherwise u get habbit of cigarate...thnks all d best....

The basic point to consider is your interest..which you say is 'HR'..so you should stick to it..however you should analyse why you are interested in 'HR'. Marketing ..though lucrative is very tough job with constant pressure thr'out the career toacive targets,get the work done by your team as yougrow up into supervisory cadre..constant travel,etc..here too if there is basic motivation for all these traits then one should eneter..otherwise you will have a real struggle to succeed ..though by vitue of your qualifiacation..MBA(Mktg) you may land in a good job..So you do self analysis and chose the right specialisation.

I suggest you follow your heart... If you really love HR, then go for it. At the end of the day you when you assess what you have done and your happiness, it isn't the money that counts. If you love touching people and you're sincere in your job, someday your efforts and sincerity will pay-off. Good Luck!
