Sales people who work at a Auto dealership?

My question isn't about sales but about the mechanics who work at your dealership. Have you noticed that they make more money working for a dealership than an independent Auto shop or not? Please state the brand dealership you work at and how much you have heard or know that the mechanics there make.

Yes, my service manager makes an obscene amount of money (more than me). We are primarily used, though.
