How hard is data entry clerk work?

I'm registering at a temp agency tomorrow for a data entry clerk position. I was wondering how hard this job is? Do I have to meet deadlines or just do as much as I can? If you dont finish in time can you stay and work overtime or will they just fire you?

ITS EASY TO ME CAUSE I MAY FALL BEHIND BUT I JUST STAY LATE OR WORK WEEKENDS!

It's not particularly hard or mentally taxing, but it can be pretty boring. The deadlines, etc. will depend on the place that you're working. I would not expect to be able to work overtime. That would be kind of like a reward for doing a bad job.

Its not hard, but can be boring. You may nned to be able to lift boxes of files to enter. You will be judged on production and accuracy. Most companies won't want to pay overtime. In my experience, they will just end your assignment, then the agency can try and place you elsewhere.
