I want to know beside volunteering at the hospital what kind of company or work I should try that will help build my resume ?

Work as a dietary aide in a nursing home. Not kidding, you'll be able to see first hand the different types of diets and what is associated with them such as(mechanical, ada etc.) I worked in a Dietary kitchen for 11 years.
