Do Night shift fast food workers make more money?
Asked by thisistwilighttime
I was wondering if they make more money than people who work during the day... I want another part time job, and was thinking about working 20 hrs a week at a fast food place.. I know they will close the dining room, so I wouldn't have to deal with many people face to face.

They pay you a dollar more at White Castle so yes. There are a limited few that do. (these fools dont know what theyre saying) But no, dont work there because u won't get to work nights. And it's sucky. Nights are better than days in my opinion because usually they are slower and easier to catch up on.

A:
No, you do not make more money working nights at a fast food place. Shift differentials are not offered in this type of work. If you are looking for a part-time night position where differentials are offered, try working customer service or working at the hospital as an admissions rep or something.

The overnight workers make more usually, because it is a harder position to fill and keep full-staffed. As for evening versus day shifts, I don't think that there is a difference.

THAT A BIG NO!! I HAVE WORKED PART TIME JOBS ALL MY LIFE AND THEY HAVE NEVER PAID MORE TO WORK AT NIGHT OVER DAY. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK INTO TELEMARKETING OR AND AUCTION ASSISTANT (such as on QVC), THEY PAY THE SHIFT DIFFENTRIAL.
