To find out the price variations - if any extra discount extended - reason to be sought . To find out the cost of sales/material cost. To find out the credit worthiness of the customer with the past records since in Sales Dept they concentrate only on the target and not bothered about the realization of money..
To find out the profit margin against each order. Expect the causes & effects if its a sales return. To find out the price whether its in line with quotation,pricebook, order acceptance with out any deviations.
