How much does a waiter/waitress make in Tips at Chillies, etc..?

How much can a waiter/waitress expect to make in Tips at a moderatlly priced restruant like Chillies, Elias Brothers, etc...? And do they retain it all or have to split it with other waiters/waitresses or even dishwashers?

I am a waitress and i have made some great money. First off before you take a job serving find out if they take part in TIP SHARE! Every server puts there money together and it is split between the servers. Most places have you tip out a small percent which goes to either the bus boys, hostess, or dishwasher. I have made anywhere from $7-700 in one night. Depends on the night, the place your working, the houes you work. Dinner shifts almost always make more. Lunch shifts though are shorter and usually end at about three in the afternoon. Hope this helps you
