Did you get hired to work at a US post office? How long did it take?
Asked by MelT
I just took the initial test to work at the post office and I heard it could take years before I get a job and even more, that the background investigations are very in-depth and they even investigate family members. What was your experience?

i took the test like 3 times in '03 i wanted to work there so badly due to the great benefits and pay, but it didn't work out, soon after i got my score i heard they were re-vamping the test, so i would have to go and take the test again, so i decided apparently it wasn't meant to be, all that time wasted studying. Yes it can take a very long time, due to your score, the higher it is the better your chances. Good luck.

I failed the driving test. The examiner would not tell me what I did wrong. Have you considered UPS?
