What is the hourly salary of a cashier at Home Depot?
Asked by Nikki
I hear Home Depot pays well. I need a 2nd job & applied for cashier. What's the hourly salary of cashier there? I am hoping to find a 2nd job paying at least $9 or more an hour. In Atlanta, GA

yallerose is correct. It depends on your store's location. The Home Depot generally pays better than the average retail store in the area. If the standard is $8.00 then they will pay $9.00 probably, if the standard is $6.00 then they will pay at least $7.00 usually. What is the standard retail wage in your area? That will give you an idea.
I have worked for HD for almost 6 years. I started as a cashier.

Depends on the store, and the state, but I work for Home Depot and they do pay well. What you are hoping for is within line of the beginning pay rate. Good Luck!
