QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING: Land Surveying Diploma Geographic Information Systems Higher Diploma Decision Science Degree How do I get out of a boring and routine, peg hammering technical surveyor's job? Does anyone out there know of jobs involving GIS for electrical services in Australia or UAE? Or anywhere else? Or something quite exciting - that invoves analysis and mapping? Environment or health? Humanitarian?

A majority of people always believe that their present job is routine and boring, and a few who venture to switch to other types of jobs usually repent their decision. So, please ponder !!

lots of diplomas/education....sounds like you need EXPERIENCE to me...

Fear or boredom can be great motivators...I am a career counselor/employment consultant for a consulting firm and I work with professionals like you often...I stronger suggest that you speak with a licensed professional in career counseling...Before you leap in another career direction, doesn't it make sense that you understand truly is the exciting and meaningful direction that you should take in your career path. Research career couselors in your local area. I am sure that they can help...
