What short time courses for data entry clerk?

Hi I finished 12 th standard only, I may be immigrating to other country. In that country lot of Dta entry clerk jobs availabe in sales inventory etc. What type of short term course or software I should learn to be a data enrtry clerk. Hope some one can help me to be prepared for the Data entry job. Some companies say do u well versed in outlook, excel like dat software.It is confusing. Thanks

You can't practice the software unless you know what you'll be using. Excel is a safe bet since that's what most businesses use. It's a spreadsheet sort of software. http://www.openoffice.org/ offers several pieces of free software that you can practice on with a windows platform. Good Luck-
