How can I get some expereince in either the accounting or financial field? Should I consider temp jobs? Can I get an internship to gain experience in the accounting or financial field?

SB, It is impossible to answer your question without knowing something about your educational background and your aptitude. If you do not have an accounting degree, or a degree in some sort of business discipline, your real chances are slim in getting a job as an accountant. You may be able to get a bookkeeping job, but even that will be hard. Provide some more information about your work experience and college degree, and you'll get more informative answers here.
