What kind of lab jobs can I get with a science degree?
Asked by amethyst300
I have a BA in Environmental Studies, with coursework in earth science, geology and intro to chemistry. I don't have biology. What kind of lab jobs can I get? What kind of lab companies/agencies are out there? (besides environmental) Is it easy to get in?

Many lab positions will not hire a BA for practical or field work, generally you are looking at a research, observation position. A good place to start would be government agencies, you are probably going to have to not exclude environmental as that is what your degree is in.

Best of luck with any of the R&D groups in the area,(LLL, Sandia< and most of the governmetn or state funded places. Most placse are only hiring Master and PhD. Lost mine after 12 @ Sandia, replaces by a intern. Best luck. If you clearenc, check "Clearence Jobs on internet. Rx
