I'm a registered nurse with a history of substance abuse. How can i find a job?

you said you have a history meaning past correct? Well if you are up front with your past employers may be a little reluctant but you are int he business of care taking you obviously know what you are doing. maybe you should look at being an at home nurse who is in someones house for majority of the day taking care of just one person for 12 hours at a time.

I believe that you will be barred from practicing, your license should have been rovoked if you have a reported history of it. You may seek employement at a rehabilitation center that can utilize your experience however. I have heard of some places who want individuals who are rehabilitated themselves along with having an education. I am not sure who you could get into contact with. Good luck

Try a rehab center............history of abuse.........current.........you did it you will have to live with it...........sorry...........
