Can a person make it on a medical assistant salary in california?
Asked by Lisa
I live in Michigan and I am about to begin school to become a Medical Assistant. I really hate Michigan with a passion and would like to move to Los Angeles after I am finished with school and I would like to know will I be able to afford the cost of living in california on a medical assistant salary? I ask this question because I know that the cost of living in California is expensive.

It would be very tough. MA's don't typically make very much. You would definitely need a roommate.

If medical assistants couldn't make it in California, there wouldn't be any medical assistants in California. Yes?
