How would a girl go about getting a job in the mining industry?

I have no trade qualifications but i've heard of people getting in there without them. I don't mind what job I do, I just want to get in.. Im from Australia and I'm 21 hoping for any websites or phone numbers that would be a great help. Thanks guys yes.. do you have any?

Are you open to other ideas? Since you said yes....there is a company that's new to Australia and UK (although they've been around for 27 years). It's a health and wellness company that's grown on average 100% each year for the previous 5 years. I would be happy to forward some information on the company to you if you're interested in checking them out (the products are amazing!). Let me know if you'd like the information.

You won't have any troubles. The mining industry is booming at the moment, and they don't discriminate. I did 20yrs in Navy and I know of a lot of ex Navy girls going off to work in the mining industry. They pay extremely well. Good luck.
